Goals

Develop an advanced apartment search system

Implement a table-based search with filtering options for size, number of rooms, and floor, combined with an interactive visual search.

Integrate an interactive apartment map

Create a dynamic SVG-based building map that allows users to select floors and view apartment details.

Automate apartment listing updates from CRM

Design a system to automatically fetch and update apartment listings from an external CRM into WordPress.

Implement a similar apartments section

Track viewed apartments and display similar listings based on users’ previous searches.

Add a contact form

Include a simple contact form for users to quickly send inquiries about selected apartments.

Complex layout with advanced elements

Developing the website with a non-grid-based, complex layout that features custom-designed sections. This includes implementing advanced sliders for showcasing featured apartments and a sophisticated gallery system to provide a detailed visual presentation of the properties.

Implementation overview

The project involved turning the client’s graphic design into a fully functional real estate website, with a focus on advanced apartment search features. The main requirement was to integrate both a table-based search system and an interactive visual map. The SVG-based building map allows users to browse floors, select apartments, and see detailed information like size, availability, and other important details.

The table-based search was enhanced with advanced filtering options, letting users sort apartments by size, number of rooms, and floor. To personalize the user experience, a feature was developed to track what apartments users viewed and show similar listings based on that. This was done using local storage and AJAX for dynamic content loading.

The website was also connected to an external CRM system to automatically update apartment listings and keep them synchronized with WordPress using the WP All Import plugin. A CRON job was set up to keep the listings current. A contact form was added as well, allowing potential buyers to send inquiries directly from the apartment listings, making communication easier.

Summary

The completion of this project led to the creation of a modern and functional real estate website that stands out with its advanced dual-search feature. Users can easily switch between table-based and interactive search options, greatly improving their experience and making it easy to browse apartment listings. The dynamic SVG map provides an intuitive way to explore apartment details, while advanced filtering options help users find apartments that match their preferences.

Additionally, the automatic synchronization of apartment listings with the external CRM ensures that all data is always up to date. The similar apartments feature further enhances the user experience by offering personalized recommendations based on previous interactions.
