Goals

Develop an Advanced User Interface

Implement an advanced, dual-mode search interface for the apartment listings website, enabling users to search for apartments using both classic and visual methods.

Interactive Apartment Selection

Integrate an interactive SVG floor plan, allowing users to visually select apartments and access detailed information seamlessly.

Efficient Information Management

Design a system using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and WordPress to facilitate easy management and updating of apartment listings, ensuring accuracy and currency of information.

Implementation overview

The project commenced with the adaptation of the client’s graphic design into a functional web layout, prioritizing user experience and interactive elements. A significant part of the implementation involved developing an interactive SVG floor plan, activated by JavaScript, that allowed users to select apartments visually. This feature was intricately linked to the display of apartment details, which were dynamically updated based on the selection within the SVG interface.

To address the need for efficient management and updating of apartment information, the website was integrated with WordPress, utilizing Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). This integration provided a structured and user-friendly platform for site administrators to enter and update the details for each apartment. Through this setup, the process of keeping the apartment listings up to date was greatly simplified, ensuring that potential buyers always had access to the latest information.
